Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shayba and Zuhayr ibn Harb narrated to us, both reporting from al-Muqri. Abu Bakr said: Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Muqri narrated to us, from Said ibn Abi Ayyub: Ubayd Allah ibn Abi Jafar narrated to me, from Abd al-Rahman al-Araj, from Abu Hurayra, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever is offered a fragrant plant should not refuse it, for it is light to carry and pleasant in scent.
