حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ النَّاقِدُ، وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ، وَعَبْدُ بْنُ، حُمَيْدٍ - قَالَ عَبْدٌ حَدَّثَنِي وَقَالَ الآخَرَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، - يَعْنُونَ ابْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ كَيْسَانَ - عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ، مَالِكٍ أَنَّ اللَّهَ، عَزَّ وَجَلَّ تَابَعَ الْوَحْىَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَبْلَ وَفَاتِهِ حَتَّى تُوُفِّيَ وَأَكْثَرُ مَا كَانَ الْوَحْىُ يَوْمَ تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم .
'Amr ibn Muhammad ibn Bukayr al-Naqid, al-Hasan ibn 'Ali al-Hulwani, and 'Abd ibn Humayd narrated this to me. 'Abd said: Ya'qub narrated to me; the other two said: Ya'qub ibn Ibrahim ibn Sa'd narrated to us: my father narrated to us, from Salih—that is, Ibn Kaysan—from Ibn Shihab, who said: Anas ibn Malik informed me that Allah, Mighty and Majestic, continued sending revelation to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) in succession before his death, until he passed away; and revelation came to him most abundantly on the day he died.
