The Destruction Of Those Who Go To Extremes
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، وَيَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ،
جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَتِيقٍ، عَنْ طَلْقِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ، عَنِ الأَحْنَفِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم "هَلَكَ الْمُتَنَطِّعُونَ " . قَالَهَا ثَلاَثًا .
Translation
Abdullah reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying
Ruined, were those who indulged in hair-splitting. He (the Holy Prophet) repeated this thrice.
