Translation

Uqba ibn Amir reported: We said to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): You send us out, and we arrive among people who do not host us. What do you advise? He replied: If you come to people who offer you what is appropriate for a guest, accept it. If they do not, then take from them what they ought to provide for a guest.
