Translation

Salamah ibn Shabib narrated to me: al-Hasan ibn A‘yan narrated to us: Zuhayr narrated to us: Simak ibn Harb narrated to us, from Jabir ibn Samurah, who said: Bilal would give the call to prayer when the sun had declined, but would not give the iqama until the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out. When he came out, Bilal would begin the prayer upon seeing him.
