Ishaq ibn Mansur narrated to me: Ubaydullah ibn Musa narrated to us, from Shayban, from Yahya, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Said, who said: During the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), we were given mixed dates called al-jam. We used to sell two sa for one sa. News of this reached the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: Do not exchange two sa of dates for one sa, or two sa of wheat for one sa, or one dirham for two dirhams.
