حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لِعُثْمَانَ - قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ أَخْبَرَنَا وَقَالَ، عُثْمَانُ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، قَالَ سَأَلَ شِبَاكٌ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فَحَدَّثَنَا عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم آكِلَ الرِّبَا وَمُؤْكِلَهُ ‏.‏ قَالَ قُلْتُ وَكَاتِبَهُ وَشَاهِدَيْهِ قَالَ إِنَّمَا نُحَدِّثُ بِمَا سَمِعْنَا ‏.‏

Translation

Uthman ibn Abi Shaybah and Ishaq ibn Ibrahim narrated to us—the wording is Uthman's. Ishaq said: Jarir informed us; Uthman said: Jarir narrated to us, from Mughirah, who said: Shibak asked Ibrahim, and he related to us from Alqamah, from Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) cursed the one who consumes usury and the one who pays it. I asked him about its scribe and two witnesses. He said: We relate only what we have heard.
