Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم آكِلَ الرِّبَا وَمُوكِلَهُ وَكَاتِبَهُ وَشَاهِدَيْهِ وَقَالَ هُمْ سَوَاءٌ .
Translation
Muhammad ibn al-Sabbah, Zuhayr ibn Harb, and Uthman ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us. They said: Hushaym narrated to us: Abu al-Zubayr informed us, from Jabir, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) cursed the one who consumes usury, the one who pays it, the one who records it, and its two witnesses. He said: They are all equal.
