If a man finds what he sold with the purchaser, who has become bankrupt, then he has the right to take it back Sahih Muslim 1559 f
Arabic hadith text
وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي خَلَفٍ، وَحَجَّاجُ بْنُ الشَّاعِرِ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، الْخُزَاعِيُّ - قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ مَنْصُورُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ - أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلاَلٍ، عَنْ خُثَيْمِ بْنِ عِرَاكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ "إِذَا أَفْلَسَ الرَّجُلُ فَوَجَدَ الرَّجُلُ عِنْدَهُ سِلْعَتَهُ بِعَيْنِهَا فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهَا "
Translation
Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying
When a inan becomes insolvent, and the other person (seller) finds his goods intact with him, he is more entitled to get them than anyone else.
