وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، وَحَرْمَلَةُ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لِحَرْمَلَةَ - أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ، وَأَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم "لاَ تَمْنَعُوا فَضْلَ الْمَاءِ لِتَمْنَعُوا بِهِ الْكَلأَ "
Translation
Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying
Do not withhold excess of water, so that you may prevent the growth of herbage.
