Abu al-Tahir narrated to me; Ibn Wahb informed us; Malik ibn Anas informed me, from Dawud ibn al-Husayn, that Abu Sufyan, the client of Ibn Abi Ahmad, informed him that he heard Abu Said al-Khudri say: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade muzabanah and muhaqalah. Muzabanah is buying fruit while it is still on the palm trees. Muhaqalah is leasing land.
