Prohibition of Severing Kinship Ties

Forbidding Hostility and Aversion
"Don't bear enmity against one another" prohibits harboring hatred that leads to harmful actions. "Don't bear aversion against one another" forbids turning away from fellow Muslims without legitimate religious cause, as this creates division in the community.
Prohibition of Envy
"Don't feel envy against the other" warns against desiring the removal of blessings from others. True believers should instead feel glad for their brothers' blessings and seek increase through righteous deeds rather than wishing for others' loss.
The Command to Brotherhood
"Live as fellow-brothers as Allah has commanded you" establishes the foundation of Islamic society. This brotherhood transcends blood relations and encompasses all believers, requiring mutual love, mercy, support, and the fulfillment of rights owed to one another.
