Seeking Refuge With Allah From Helplessness, Laziness Etc
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، قَالَ وَأَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ،
بْنُ مَالِكٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ "اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ
وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ "

Translation
Anas b. Malik reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to say
" O Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from incapacity, from indolence, from cowardice, from senility, from miserliness, and I seek refuge in Thee from the torment of the grave and from trial of the life and death."
