Sunan an-Nasa'i 1449
Arabic hadith text
أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ صَلَّى عُثْمَانُ بِمِنًى أَرْبَعًا حَتَّى بَلَغَ ذَلِكَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ لَقَدْ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَكْعَتَيْنِ .
Translation
‘Ali ibn Khashram informed us; he said: ‘Isa narrated to us, from al-A‘mash, from Ibrahim, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid, who said: ‘Uthman prayed four rak‘ahs at Mina. When news of this reached ‘Abdullah, he said: “I prayed two rak‘ahs with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).”
