أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِمِنًى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَصَلاَّهَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَصَلاَّهَا عُمَرُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَصَلاَّهَا عُثْمَانُ صَدْرًا مِنْ خِلاَفَتِهِ ‏.‏

Translation

Muhammad ibn Salamah informed us; he said: Ibn Wahb narrated to us, from Yunus, from Ibn Shihab, who said: ‘Ubaydullah ibn ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar informed me, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed two rak‘ahs at Mina. Abu Bakr prayed them as two rak‘ahs, ‘Umar prayed them as two rak‘ahs, and ‘Uthman prayed them as two rak‘ahs at the beginning of his caliphate.
