وعن ابن عباس رضى الله عنهما أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال‏:‏ إلبسوا من ثيابكم البياض؛ فإنها من خير ثيابكم، وكفنوا فيها موتاكم‏"‏.‏((رواه أبو داود والترمذي))

Samurah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, 'Wear white clothes because they are the purest and they are closest to modesty; and shroud the dead in it."[An- Nasa'i and Al-Hakim].
