حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ، قَالَ‏:‏ قُلْتُ لأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ‏:‏ كَيْفَ كَانَ نَعْلُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم‏؟‏ قَالَ‏:‏ لَهُمَا قِبَالانِ‏.‏

Jabir reported

“The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) forbade one (referring to the man) to eat with his left hand, or to walk in a single sandal.”
