Jabir reported that Allah’s Messenger said: ‘When one of you lies on his back, he should not place one of his feet over the other.’ More than one transmitter narrated this hadith from Sulayman al-Taymi. It is not known who this Khidash was, although Sulayman al-Taymi narrated more than one hadith from him.
Notes and open questions — unreviewed
The supplied English witness gives a different, expanded prohibition; the Arabic excerpt here contains only the instruction about placing one foot over the other while lying on one’s back. The Arabic also notes that Khidash is unidentified.
