Jabir ibn Samurah reported: I saw the Prophet reclining on a cushion on his left side.

Abu ‘Isa said: This is a hasan gharib hadith. More than one transmitter narrated this hadith from Isra’il, from Simak, from Jabir ibn Samurah, saying, ‘I saw the Prophet reclining on a cushion,’ without mentioning ‘on his left side.’
