What Has Been Related About The Thigh Being Part Of The 'Awrah Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2796
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا وَاصِلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى الْكُوفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " الْفَخِذُ عَوْرَةٌ "
Translation
Narrated 'Abdullah bin Jardah Al-Aslami
from his father, from the Prophet (ﷺ) who said: "The thigh is 'Awrah."
