Abu ‘Isa said: This is a gharib hadith. Abu Ahmad related it from Sufyan, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, from ‘Umar. Others related it from Sufyan, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, from the Prophet, omitting ‘Umar. Abu Ahmad is trustworthy and a hadith memorizer. The well-known version among people is from Jabir, from the Prophet, without ‘Umar in its chain.
