Notes and open questions — unreviewed
The source presents two routes separated by the route-transfer marker ح; the first ends at Ibn Abi Layla, and the second continues through ‘Atiyyah to Abu Sa‘id.
The route-transfer marker follows Abu Mu‘awiyah’s transmission from Ibn Abi Layla; the second route from Sufyan ibn Waki‘ continues through Humayd to the report.
Should the first route fragment remain distinct from the second route in the English text?
The English witness omits the isnad and all compiler notes.
Should the chains and end matter be retained?
The Arabic lists three related narrators and grades the report hasan sahih, all absent from the witness.
Should these notes be included?
