Qutaybah narrated to us, from Malik ibn Anas, from Sumayy, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: “While a man was walking along a road, he found a thorny branch and moved it aside. Allah appreciated this for him and forgave him.”
There are also reports on this topic from Abu Barzah, Ibn ‘Abbas, and Abu Dharr. Abu ‘Isa said: This hadith is hasan sahih.
