Abu Kurayb narrated to us: Waki‘ narrated to us, from Zakariyya ibn Ishaq, from Yahya ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn Sayfi, from Abu Ma‘bad, from Ibn ‘Abbas, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent Mu‘adh ibn Jabal to Yemen and said: “Beware the supplication of the wronged person, for there is no barrier between it and Allah.” Abu ‘Isa said: Reports on this topic are also related from Anas, Abu Hurayrah, ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Umar, and Abu Sa‘id. This hadith is hasan sahih. Abu Ma‘bad’s name was Nafidh.
