Muhammad ibn Marzuq narrated to us: ‘Ubaydullah ibn Waqid narrated to us: Sa‘id ibn ‘Atiyyah al-Laythi narrated to us, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah said: ‘Whoever would like Allah to answer him in times of hardship and distress, let him make abundant supplication in times of ease.’ Abu ‘Isa said: This hadith is gharib.
Notes and open questions — unreviewed
