حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ، قَالَ مَا نَهَضَ مَلَكٌ مِنَ الأَرْضِ حَتَّى قَالَ لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ .

Qutaybah ibn Sa‘id narrated to us: al-Layth ibn Sa‘d narrated to us, from ‘Ubayd Allah ibn Abi Ja‘far, from Safwan ibn Sulaym, who said: ‘No angel rises from the earth without saying, “There is no might or power except through Allah.”’
