Musa ibn Hizam, ‘Abd ibn Humayd, and others narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Bishr narrated to us, saying: I heard Hani ibn ‘Uthman, from his mother Humaydah bint Yasir, from her grandmother Yusairah, who was one of the women who emigrated. She said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to us: ‘Keep to glorifying Allah, declaring His oneness, and proclaiming His holiness; count them on your fingertips, for they will be questioned and made to speak. Do not become heedless, lest you forget mercy.’ Abu ‘Isa said: This is a gharib hadith; we know it only through the narration of Hani ibn ‘Uthman. Muhammad ibn Rabi‘ah also narrated from Hani ibn ‘Uthman.
