Unreviewed translation. All hadiths in this collection are available in five languages. Titles and introductions may remain in Arabic.

Anas ibn Malik reported from the Prophet ﷺ that he said: ‘Supplication is not rejected between the call to prayer and the commencement of prayer.’ Abu ‘Isa said: Abu Ishaq al-Hamdani likewise narrated this hadith from Burayd ibn Abi Maryam al-Kufi, from Anas, from the Prophet ﷺ, with similar wording; that version is more authentic.

Notes and open questions — unreviewed

The English witness omits Abu ‘Isa’s comparison with Abu Ishaq’s route through Burayd ibn Abi Maryam and the judgment that it is more authentic.

Should the compiler’s comparison route and preference be retained?
