Ishaq ibn Mansur informed us: ‘Affan ibn Muslim narrated to us: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), that when the Messenger of Allah went to bed he would say: ‘Praise belongs to Allah, who fed us, gave us drink, sufficed us, and gave us shelter. How many are those who have no one to suffice them and no one to shelter them!’ Abu ‘Isa said: This hadith is hasan sahih gharib.

The Arabic gives thanks for food, drink, sufficiency, and shelter, then contrasts this with those who have no one to provide for or shelter them.
