حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الأُمَوِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ قَالَ - يَعْنِي إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ - بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ . يُقَالُ لَهُ كُفِيتَ وَوُقِيتَ . وَتَنَحَّى عَنْهُ الشَّيْطَانُ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ .

Sa‘id ibn Yahya ibn Sa‘id al-Umawi narrated to us; my father narrated to us; Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, from Ishaq ibn ‘Abdullah ibn Abi Talhah, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ‘Whoever says—meaning, when leaving his house—“In the name of Allah; I place my trust in Allah. There is no might or power except through Allah,” will be told: “You have been provided for and protected,” and Satan will move away from him.’ Abu ‘Isa said: ‘This is a hasan sahih gharib hadith; we know it only through this route.’
