Mahmud ibn Ghaylan narrated to us; Waki‘ narrated to us; Sufyan narrated to us, from Mansur, from ‘Amir al-Sha‘bi, from Umm Salamah, that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) left his house, he would say: ‘In the name of Allah; I place my trust in Allah. O Allah, we seek refuge in You from slipping or going astray, from wronging others or being wronged, and from acting ignorantly or having ignorance directed toward us.’ Abu ‘Isa said: ‘This is a hasan sahih hadith.’
