Musa ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman al-Kindi al-Kufi narrated to us; Zayd ibn Hubab narrated to us; Usamah ibn Zayd informed me, from Sa‘id al-Maqburi, from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), that a man said: ‘Messenger of Allah, I intend to travel, so advise me.’ He said: ‘Hold fast to God-consciousness of Allah and say the takbir at every high point.’ When the man turned away, he said: ‘O Allah, draw the earth near for him and make the journey easy for him.’ He said: ‘This is a hasan hadith.’
