that the Messenger of Allah said: “Three supplications are responded to: The supplication of the oppressed, the supplication of the traveler, and the supplication of the parent against his child.” Ali bin Hujr narrated to us (he said): Ismail bin Ibrahim reported to us from Hisham Ad-Dastawa’i, from Yahya bin Abu Kathir with this chain, narrating similar to it, but he added to it: “responded to, there is no doubt in them.”

Commentary on the Three Supplications
The supplication of the oppressed (mazlum) is accepted because Allah Almighty does not wrong anyone, and He hastens to aid those who are wronged. The oppressed person's heart is pure from malice when supplicating, having only trust in Allah.
The traveler's supplication is answered because travel often brings humility and neediness before Allah. The traveler is far from home, vulnerable, and thus turns sincerely to his Lord.
The parent's supplication against their child is accepted because parents naturally have immense love for their children. When a parent prays against their own child, it indicates extreme distress and legitimate grievance that warrants divine intervention.
Significance of the Addition
The additional phrase "there is no doubt in them" emphasizes the certainty of these supplications being answered. This removes any skepticism about Allah's response to these specific prayers.
Scholars note that this certainty applies when the supplicant meets the conditions of sincere supplication: lawful sustenance, pure intention, and avoiding sin in the means of seeking response.
Practical Implications
This hadith teaches Muslims to be cautious about oppressing others, mistreating parents, or causing harm to travelers, knowing their supplications carry special weight with Allah.
It also encourages those in these three situations to turn to Allah with full confidence that their prayers will be answered in the manner and time that Allah knows is best.
