حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفُضَيْلِ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، رضى الله عنه قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " كَلِمَتَانِ خَفِيفَتَانِ عَلَى اللِّسَانِ ثَقِيلَتَانِ فِي الْمِيزَانِ حَبِيبَتَانِ إِلَى الرَّحْمَنِ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ " . قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ صَحِيحٌ .

Yusuf ibn ‘Isa narrated to us; Muhammad ibn al-Fudayl narrated to us, from ‘Umarah ibn al-Qa‘qa‘, from Abu Zur‘ah ibn ‘Amr ibn Jarir, from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ‘Two words are light on the tongue, heavy on the Scale, and beloved to the Most Merciful: “Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him; glory be to Allah, the Magnificent.”’ He said: ‘This is a hasan gharib sahih hadith.’
