Ishaq ibn Musa al-Ansari narrated to us; Ma‘n narrated to us; Malik narrated to us, from Sumayy, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ‘Whoever says one hundred times in a day, “There is no god but Allah alone, without partner. To Him belongs sovereignty and praise. He gives life and causes death, and He has power over all things,” will have the reward of freeing ten slaves, one hundred good deeds will be recorded for him, and one hundred bad deeds will be erased from him. It will be a protection for him from Satan that day until evening. No one will bring anything better than this, except someone who does more.’ With this same chain, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he said: ‘Whoever says “Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him” one hundred times, his sins will be erased, even if they are more than the foam of the sea.’ He said: ‘This is a hasan sahih hadith.’
