حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْجُمَحِيُّ، - وَهُوَ رَجُلٌ صَالِحٌ حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحٌ الْمُرِّيُّ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " ادْعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَنْتُمْ مُوقِنُونَ بِالإِجَابَةِ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ يَسْتَجِيبُ دُعَاءً مِنْ قَلْبٍ غَافِلٍ لاَهٍ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ . سَمِعْتُ عَبَّاسًا الْعَنْبَرِيَّ يَقُولُ اكْتُبُوا عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْجُمَحِيِّ فَإِنَّهُ ثِقَةٌ .

‘Abdullah ibn Mu‘awiyah al-Jumahi—who was a righteous man—narrated to us; Salih al-Murri narrated to us, from Hisham ibn Hassan, from Muhammad ibn Sirin, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ‘Call upon Allah while certain of being answered, and know that Allah does not answer a supplication from a heart that is heedless and distracted.’ Abu ‘Isa said: ‘This is a gharib hadith; we know it only through this route.’ I heard ‘Abbas al-‘Anbari say: ‘Record reports from ‘Abdullah ibn Mu‘awiyah al-Jumahi, for he is trustworthy.’’

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ . سَمِعْتُ عَبَّاسًا الْعَنْبَرِيَّ يَقُولُ اكْتُبُوا عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْجُمَحِيِّ فَإِنَّهُ ثِقَةٌ
The Arabic includes the compiler's route grading and a separately attributed reliability statement from ‘Abbas al-‘Anbari; the English witness omits both.
Should both the compiler's note and the named transmitter's reliability comment be included?
