Muhammad ibn Yahya al-Thaqafi al-Marwazi narrated to us; Hafs ibn Ghiyath narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Sabit, from Abu Umamah, who said: It was asked, ‘Messenger of Allah, which supplication is most readily heard?’ He replied: ‘In the latter part of the night and after the prescribed prayers.’ He said: ‘This is a hasan hadith.’ It has also been narrated from Abu Dharr and Ibn ‘Umar, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), that he said: ‘In the latter part of the night, supplication is better—or more likely to be answered,’ or words to that effect.

The Arabic adds corroborating reports from Abu Dharr and Ibn ‘Umar, with variant wording; the witness omits this note.
Should the compiler’s related-report note be tracked as an omission?
