‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman narrated to us; Haywah ibn Shurayh—who is Ibn Yazid al-Himsi—informed us, from Baqiyyah ibn al-Walid, from Muslim ibn Ziyad, who said: I heard Anas say that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ‘Whoever says in the morning, “O Allah, we have entered the morning calling You, the bearers of Your Throne, Your angels, and all Your creation to witness that You are Allah; there is no god but You alone, without partner, and that Muhammad is Your servant and Messenger,” Allah will forgive him for whatever he incurs that day. If he says it in the evening, Allah will forgive him for whatever sin he incurs that night.’ Abu ‘Isa said: ‘This is a gharib hadith.’

  • ‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ ‏.

Al-Tirmidhi’s gharib grade appears in Arabic but not the English witness.

Should this grade be tracked as a witness omission?
