Sufyan ibn Waki‘ narrated to us; my father narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Harith, from ‘Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) visited a sick person, he would say: ‘O Allah, remove the harm, Lord of mankind, and heal him; You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing—a healing that leaves no illness behind.’ He said: ‘This is a hasan hadith.’
