‘Abdullah ibn Abi Ziyad narrated to us; Sayyar narrated to us; ‘Abd al-Wahid ibn Ziyad narrated to us, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Ishaq, from al-Qasim ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman, from his father, from Ibn Mas‘ud, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ‘On the night I was taken on the Night Journey, I met Ibrahim. He said: “Muhammad, convey my greetings of peace to your community and tell them that Paradise has pure soil and sweet water, that it is level ground, and that its plants are: Glory be to Allah, praise belongs to Allah, there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest.”’ He said: ‘There is also a report on this subject from Abu Ayyub. This is a hasan gharib hadith through this route, from Ibn Mas‘ud.’’
