حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَجْتَهِدُ فِي الْعَشْرِ الأَوَاخِرِ مَا لاَ يَجْتَهِدُ فِي غَيْرِهَا . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ .

Qutaibah narrated to us: 'Abdul-Wahid bin Ziyad narrated to us, from Al-Hasan bin 'Ubaidullah, from Ibrahim, from Al-Aswad, from 'Aishah, who said: The Messenger of Allah would strive harder during the last ten days than at any other time. Abu 'Isa said: This hadith is hasan sahih gharīb.
