حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ، وَالْمُؤَمَّلُ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي يَعْفُورٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى، قَالَ غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم سَبْعَ غَزَوَاتٍ نَأْكُلُ الْجَرَادَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَرَوَى شُعْبَةُ، هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ أَبِي يَعْفُورٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى، قَالَ غَزَوْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم غَزَوَاتٍ نَأْكُلُ الْجَرَادَ . حَدَّثَنَا بِذَلِكَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ بِهَذَا .

Mahmud ibn Ghaylan narrated to us: Abu Ahmad and al-Mu’ammal narrated to us: Sufyan narrated to us, from Abu Ya‘fur, from Ibn Abi Awfa, who said: We campaigned with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on seven campaigns, eating locusts. Abu ‘Isa said: Shu‘bah also reported this hadith from Abu Ya‘fur, from Ibn Abi Awfa, who said: I campaigned with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on campaigns, and we ate locusts, without specifying a number. Muhammad ibn Bashshar narrated this to us: Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us: Shu‘bah narrated this same report to us.
