Mahmud ibn Ghaylan reported to us from Abu Dawud, who informed us from Shu bah, from al-Aswad ibn Qays, who said: I heard Nubayh al-Anazi narrate from Jabir, who said: On the day of Uhud, my paternal aunt brought my father to bury him in our cemetery. A caller of the Messenger of Allah called out: Return the slain to their resting places.
Abu Isa said: This hadith is hasan sahih. He also said: Nubayh is trustworthy.
