Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1709
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنِ التَّحْرِيشِ بَيْنَ الْبَهَائِمِ . وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ . وَيُقَالُ هَذَا أَصَحُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ قُطْبَةَ .

Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna reported to us from Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi, from Sufyan, from al-A mash, from Abu Yahya, from Mujahid: The Prophet forbade stirring up fighting between animals. This chain does not include the link ‘from Ibn Abbas.’ It is said that this is more correct than the report of Qutbah.
