Ibn Abi Umar reported to us from Sufyan ibn Uyaynah, from Ubaydullah, with a similar report in meaning, except that Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz said: This is the boundary between children and combatants. He did not mention the instruction to assign stipends.
Abu Isa said: The report of Ishaq ibn Yusuf is hasan sahih gharib through the narration of Sufyan al-Thawri.

This variant gives ‘children and combatants’ and omits the statement about writing to assign stipends, which appeared in the preceding report.
