حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ الْبَتِّيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَلِيلِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ أَصَبْنَا سَبَايَا يَوْمَ أَوْطَاسٍ وَلَهُنَّ أَزْوَاجٌ فِي قَوْمِهِنَّ فَذَكَرُوا ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَنَزَلَتْ : (وَالْمُحْصَنَاتُ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ إِلاَّ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ ) . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ . وَهَكَذَا رَوَاهُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ الْبَتِّيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْخَلِيلِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ . وَأَبُو الْخَلِيلِ اسْمُهُ صَالِحُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ . وَرَوَى هَمَّامٌ، هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ صَالِحٍ أَبِي الْخَلِيلِ، عَنْ أَبِي عَلْقَمَةَ الْهَاشِمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم . حَدَّثَنَا بِذَلِكَ عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَبَّانُ بْنُ هِلاَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، .

Ahmad ibn Mani narrated to us: Hushaym narrated to us: Uthman al-Batti narrated to us, from Abu al-Khalil, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: We captured women at the battle of Awtas who had husbands among their people. We mentioned this to the Messenger of Allah, and the verse was revealed: And [also forbidden to you are] married women, except those whom your right hands possess. Abu Isa said: This hadith is hasan. Al-Thawri narrated this hadith in the same way, from Uthman al-Batti, from Abu al-Khalil, from Abu Sa'id. Abu al-Khalil's name was Salih ibn Abi Maryam.
Hammam narrated this hadith from Qatadah, from Salih Abu al-Khalil, from Abu Alqamah al-Hashimi, from Abu Sa'id, from the Prophet. Abd ibn Humayd narrated this to us: Habban ibn Hilal narrated to us: Hammam narrated to us.
