Qutaybah narrated to us: al-Layth narrated to us, from Ibn Shihab, from Abu Bakr ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari, who said: The Messenger of Allah prohibited the price of a dog, the payment of a prostitute, and the fee paid to a soothsayer. It is also reported in this chapter from Rafi' ibn Khadij, Abu Juhaifah, Abu Hurairah, and Ibn Abbas. Abu Isa said: The hadith of Abu Mas'ud is hasan sahih.
