[What Has Been Related] About Eating On The Day Of Fitr Before Going Out Jami` at-Tirmidhi 543
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَيُفْطِرُ عَلَى تَمَرَاتٍ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْرُجَ إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ صَحِيحٌ
Translation
Anas bin Malik narrated
"The Prophet would have a breakfast of dates on the Day of Fitr before leaving for the Musalla."
