Chapter 57
الاِسْتِغْفَارِ

It was narrated that Hudhayfah said: My tongue was sharp with my family, though it did not extend beyond them. I mentioned this to the Prophet ﷺ, and he said, ‘What prevents you from seeking forgiveness? Ask Allah’s forgiveness seventy times a day.’

It was narrated from ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Whoever makes a habit of seeking forgiveness, Allah will grant him relief from every worry, a way out of every hardship, and provide for him from where he does not expect.’

Chapter 58
فَضْلِ الْعَمَلِ

It was narrated from Abu Dharr that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Allah, Blessed and Exalted, says: ‘Whoever comes with a good deed will have ten times its like, and I will add more. Whoever comes with an evil deed will be repaid with only its like, or I will forgive him. Whoever draws near to Me by a handspan, I draw near to him by an arm’s length; whoever draws near to Me by an arm’s length, I draw near to him by a fathom. Whoever comes to Me walking, I come to him swiftly. Whoever meets Me with sins nearly filling the earth, without associating anything with Me, I will meet him with forgiveness just as vast.’’

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Allah, Glorified is He, says: ‘I am as My servant expects Me to be, and I am with him when he remembers Me. If he remembers Me within himself, I remember him within Myself; and if he remembers Me in a gathering, I remember him in a gathering better than it. If he draws near to Me by a handspan, I draw near to him by an arm’s length; and if he comes to Me walking, I come to him swiftly.’

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Every deed of the son of Adam is multiplied for him: each good deed by ten times its like, up to seven hundredfold.’ Allah, Glorified is He, said: ‘Except for fasting, for it is for Me, and I will reward it.’
Chapter 59
مَا جَاءَ فِي " لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ

It was narrated that Abu Musa said: The Prophet ﷺ heard me saying, ‘There is no might or power except through Allah.’ He said, ‘‘Abdullah ibn Qays, shall I show you a phrase from the treasures of Paradise?’ I said, ‘Yes, Messenger of Allah.’ He said, ‘Say: There is no might or power except through Allah.’
